Caprese

I always in the mood for Italian so I always seize my moment. In an attempt to find a new Italian eating place, I opt for Caprese at Kota Kasablanka. Let's see, I came with my family and chose three dishes:

The Sopranos
So this is The Sopranos is a Neapolitan type of pizza with pork salamis and spinach leaves. I love the thin pizza but I didn't eat off the crust, it was just too hard to eat. The pork is too salty for me. All and all it was okay.

Potato Soup
This is lovely. I love the garlic bread at the side, the cheese which dissolves well in the soup, the creaminess is perfect and I can still taste the potatoes. The problem is that it is served in a cup, which made it very slow to cool down. It also came with my main dish so, really it isn't a good appetizer.

Linguini al Pesto
This the creme de la creme! I love pesto and this one is the perfect pesto. I can smell the herbs in it but it didn't over power the taste. But my biggest concern is that it is tossed with cubes of potatoes. Potatoes and linguini taste awesome, I guess the dissolved potatoes adds texture to the pasta but, seriously this are both carbs. Not good.

But above all, I think I want to come back to Caprese. They have a wide variety of pasta (which I adore!) and their appetizers are not bad at all.
