Pizza Express

Hey guys!

I'm always in the mood for pasta so when I was out with my sister Hana, I had to take her to Pizza Express. I didn't get to treat her for my birthday so I was doing the favor. Due to limited cash we decided to just order two dishes.

The first one was Spaghetti Alfredo, it's supposed to be a cheese-cream based pasta right? Well, I was thinking you cannot go wrong with cream sauce but this one wasn't satisfactory. There was something too overwhelming on my palette. I couldn't put my finger on it. I knew it must be the herbs and it overtook everything else. I wouldn't want that no more.

The second dish we shared was this American style pizza. Well, it's just a safe option, loads of cheese and pepperoni. It was mediocre for a classic pizza. Is it classic so I didn't expect much.

But I will give Pizza Express the benefit of the doubt. I will try this once more and see if it's changed. I really wanted Penne Pollo Pesto but it wasn't in the menu. Maybe it got changed with the name of the restaurant. Oh well, until the next visit.
