Hawaiian Bistro, Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta

Hey guys!

So the second place we went to was Hawaiian Bistro, located at Rukan Garden House Pantai Indah Kapuk, just a few meters away from Locale (on the same side as Hong Tang and Hakkata Ikkousha). This was my main destination. I've been reading about this and so there I was.

My main course was Loco Moco (72k). I googled this and found that it is a real Hawaiian delicacy. It is rice with two beef patties and two sunny side up eggs. I loved this! I loved everything about it. The beef patties were gorgeous, very tasty and juicy. You cannot go wrong with eggs and the gravy-although a tiny bit salty-was great! I cannot endorse this enough!

The other dish my friend got which also was mind-blowing-ly good was Kamuela Roast Pork (65k). It was juicy, you get that roast flavor. The meat wasn't hard and the gravy (again, a wee bit too salty) just complemented the whole dish. I want to eat this again.

For extra kick, we ordered the Hawaiian signature salad, the Ahi Poke (35k). It is tuna salad with sesame oil. It was heavenly. I cannot say this enough--it was fantastic. The portion was also generous so that wasn't bad. Oh I just love it, love, love, love, love it.

If you're in the neighborhood, maybe it's time to try Hawaiian. Mahalo!
