Studying Abroad Rants

4:12 AM

Hey guys!

The days are getting shorter. It seems that only a few months ago the sun would still up until 9 pm but now around 4.30 pm and it's almost setting down. It means that it's getting colder and we're preparing for winter. For me, winter is a milestone in my study abroad. Deadlines need to be met, thesis introduction needs to be written, internship needs to be found, exams need to be done but above all, holiday trips need to be planned!

The lack of updates in this blog might be somewhat influenced by the first four things that needs to be done. It's been a crazy half a year here in the Netherlands. Again, it's not easy - there were times when I felt I was the dumbest person in class and I had to do a resit for one of my exams, but hey, you don't get to experience this unless you come to study abroad. It humbles you - you may have a brilliant academic record back home but it's very different here. Well, to be honest, some other students also struggle, even Dutch students. So, here's to more humbling experiences!
