Vietnamese Surprise

Honestly, I've always remembered somehow that I used to hate Vietnamese pho. I can't remember why but   I just don't like it. I've only given it another try when I was in Rzeszow, Poland, visiting this Vietnamese Restaurant called Saigon. It was so good.

Now I have a very new idea of Vietnamese cuisine and I can't wait to taste it for real in Vietnam, when I visit my dearest friend Hoan :)

But before that I went to this old but strong chain of Vietnamese cuisine called 'Do An' at Epiwalk, Rasuna Said. Ordered these two dishes. The first one was called pho ba cin or basically noodles with beef. At first I thought there was something off with the stock but as I eat on, it got better and better. It has this very zesty taste, which I narrow down to coriander or some sort of Asian basil. But overall it is very very delicious. The second dish is called chao tom, shrimp cake on a sugar cane. It was really nice to, full of flavors, especially with its special sauce.
