But anyway, we went to this restaurant called Carlo de Huts, located in the Crystal Lagoon area of Senayan City. Each time we go to Sency we always go to Spageddies so this time we have to change. So, I looked the place out online and some of the reviews were encouraging. So there we went.

I'm not sure about the theme of the place. My best guess is some sort of Spanish themed. They sell European food, from pancakes, sweet and savory pizza, good old steaks and grill and pasta. Here I'm going to show the two dishes we love.



Vania ordered the Smoked Salmon with White Sauce (which go for 64k before tax if I'm not mistaken). It's pretty basic, a good fettuccine, with cream sauce, a sweet rose-shaped salmon, drizzle of  grated cheese and olives. It was good, I love the cream (never go wrong with cream). Vania added some Tabasco though so it's a bit fresher but still good.



For my beverage, I ordered a good old (safe) iced milk tea. I was going to order the butter beer (yes, they have butter beer) but it is sold out. What a disappointment! But the milk tea isn't bad. Tea with sweetened condensed milk topped of with what I think it cincau. I found this mixture before - personally don't like it that much but hey, it's milk tea.
