Hey guys!

I was fortunate enough to get invited to eat lunch with my buddies at Loewy, at Oakwood, Mega Kuningan. I read some of the reviews and thought it was really fancy. It really was fancy. Even with a reservation, we still got a terrible near the door table. But there I got adventurous with the food I ordered.

Escargot 45k

For a light nibble, I was dying to try the famous escargot. The way they do that here was to bury it with baguette crumbs and garlic butter. I had high expectations towards this dish. It was okay. I must say it tastes like clams to me. It was to garlic-y too. Did I like it? Yes. Would I order again? No.

Grilled Norwegian Salmon Filet 140k

I'm down for fish and salmon filet is always a good idea. So I went a little crazy to order this baby and I didn't regret it. I loved it. Perfectly grilled, the salmon just melts away. It was served with butter mashed potato was was divine. Oh Lord it was sinfully good.

The thing is, the ambiance just wasn't for me. I'm no fancy diner so it's very unlikely for me to go on a second visit. But note to you, they serve good food, for real.
