Local Fest!

Hey guys!

Earlier today I went out with my buddies to Local Fest at Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. It is a festival for up and coming local designers, artists, and entrepreneurs to showcase their products. I had just recently heard about this through Instragram and I gave it a try. To my knowledge it is home to fashion brands, food stalls, music shows and film screenings. But, me being a total foodie, I went there for gastronomic adventure. Here are a few goodies that I got:

1. Hi Fries for 25k. It is one of the busiest stalls so I just had to taste it. It came with several flavors but I got the garlic panic, just because the cheese one would be too common. Verdict: I loved it for a little snack. I can't remember if they have one with chili con carne. That would be perfect.

2. I have been dying to try an almond milk so when I spotted this I was sold. Because it is a one time thing, spending 38k on a bottle is pretty okay. This one was in matcha flavor. It tasted a lot like soy milk.

3. How can I resist pasta! Gorry Gourmet got me hooked on Wild Mushroom Lasagna. It was a very expensive at 55k per serving but hey in the name of trying something new I bought it. I don't like it 100% due to the sourness of the tomato sauce. But the white sauce and mushrooms were good.

4. I did bought one non food item. You know I am obsessed with notebooks so when I saw this one I just have to have it. It is Tintin! Anyway, it's good to support local brand.
