Mama Goose and Woodpecker Coffee

8:39 PM

Hey guys,

Since more cool (well, not sure if it is cool or not--cool for some people) are opening up around Panglima Polim area, I went to one of them which was Mama Goose, located at Panglima Polim Raya. It was a slow Monday so it was quite empty. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building. It was styled in a rustic, industrial atmosphere. I ordered a pasta dish (as always) and an iced cocoa, a wrong choice on a hot day because I devoured it quickly.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken with Creamy Spaghetti (65k) as my main dish. I am, after all, anak ayam (yep, I coined that term). The first overpowering taste that'll hit your tongue is paprika! Wow, it was a lot of paprika. The shot of paprika was okay at first but as I ate through it was just not so good. But, I do love that it is different from regular creamy pasta. I didn't regret this choice.

Around that neighborhood, there is also a coffee place that my brother wanted to visit so much. But, since I am no coffee gal, I ordered waffles to satisfy my sweet tooth. It was freshly made, right in front of me so that's nice. I loved that it was crisp but very soft inside, perfect toasting. I wish it came with a whipped cream and more ice cream.

All in all, I had a great time at both place. But the question remains, will I come back? No, I will not.

Always
