Hey guys!

Everybody loves nasi uduk right? Well, I do. I love so much I can eat it plain without any condiments. Last night, I went to look for Nasi Uduk Gondangdia, said to be a renowned place and an institution in itself. It is located on Jalan Cikini IV, just along the overhead train tracks. The sides are lined with parking cars so I'm sure you cannot miss it.

Once you come inside, go to the glass case of many condiments, ranging from chicken, duck, lungs, chicken liver, ampela and many more. The server will give you a plate and a thong: pick carefully, you'll be tempted to pick everything. There's also a self-service lalapan. Then, you can go ahead a sit down, where the waiter will ask your drinks order and deliver a plate of nasi uduk wrapped in banana leaf.

I was with my family of four and they served us six conical-shaped banana leaf wrapped nasi. The rice itself is fragrant, the portion is generous. I loved it!

Second visit? Yes, definitely.
