Up and Near a River

Seizing opportunity to eat out (again) we went to Puncak! Well, to Megamendung to be exact, to visit Cimory Riverside. You've probably heard this really famous milk company, Cimory. If you travelled to Puncak, you've probably seen this place.

It highlights the river (which I was told it is the head stream of Ciliwung river) and people wanted to sit on the deck, overlooking the river (totally not important but oh well). The Restaurant serves Indonesia, Asian and Western food but mostly Asian delicacies. We ordered Ring Sausages, which is a sausage mixture of beef and chicken; and Fish and Chips. I have to say they have very limited option of menu but it still can cater to many people's taste. The drink? All of their dairy products innovation. The service is excellent, it was fast although it begs the question is the food really fresh and made upon order. But I guess this place requires fast service, considering there are a lot of people visiting this place, especially on holidays.

Fresh Milk!

I ordered the sausage. It was from Cimory's own sausage product I think. It was good. The potato wedges are not too crispy but still has that smooth potato consistency but I really cannot tell if they were frozens or real chopped potatoes. The sausage was nice, although not 100% meat but it's still enjoyable. Well, our house buys Delicatessen sausages, so yeah, any other sausages is terrible for us.

I have to praise the Fish and Chips, though. It was a nice portion, crispy outside and smooth inside; excellent batter. What can I say, it's a good ol' Fish and Chips! I highly recommend this.

On the right side of the building, there are the shops. You can buy Cimory's dairy product and Chocomory, the company's chocolate products. It was beautifully packaged. You can find regular dark chocolate bars to hot chocolate and bite size chocolates. There is also a line of chocolate pralines. It is 8000 a pop but they are really good. The green tea praline is super tasty!
