Area Coffee

I was told by a dear friend about a cute little place called Ranah Coffee. It is located at Margonda Raya, very near to my campus and boarding house. I just had to seize the chance to visit it.
It's a three floored ruko, with a striking sign out front. As soon as I entered, I sensed the ambiance was to deliver something vintage to the visitor. There were two main sitting areas on the first floor, resembling a living room at your grandma's place. An Indonesian people-styled painting was on the wall, two rustic-framed mirrors were just sitting, leaning against the wall too. There was an old TV box which turned into a serving table and numerous knick knack like an old wine cellar table top served as a table with tall chairs. I loved coziness of it. I went with some friends and ordered a green tea latte.
I always love that jar-glass thing to serve our drinks, very cool. But sadly this latte is made from a Monin syrup so it tastes too artificial for me. I prefer a Matcha powder mix drink or a regular green tea. But I'm still giving this place a green light--I hear the coffee is amazing.
the lovely interior
