Popolomama Pasta Dish

I'm calling out to pasta lovers out there. You've probably have heard about this place before. It has a few locations in Jakarta but the one I went to was in Grand Indonesia, Jakarta. This is Popolomama.
Well, this place isn't actually Italian. It's a Japanese pasta chain and for a chain restaurant, this place serves good quality pasta.
Basically, you can choose the pasta sauce, your good old Bolognese, Cream Carbonara or if you're like me, you go straight to Genovese or pesto sauce. Yep, that earthy basil taste is my kind of pasta. I ordered it with potato and chicken sausage - opting for the healthier option than beef, plus it's the one with the recommended signage on it.
They have a decent portion, that's a good thing for a dish worth 60k Rupiah. Good quality chicken sausage and they're pretty generous about the potatoes too. Yes, I eat double carbohydrate but it seems pasta, pesto and potatoes just work. The oil in it isn't overwhelming so it tasted good.
I will definitely come to Popolomama again.
