Hoi!

I was so happy that I get to eat at Marche again! This time, my best friend Vania treated me and a few other friends at this very fancy market. We went to the one in Grand Indonesia. Honestly, I love Marche's ambience. These are my highlights:

The first thing I ordered was the Mushroom Cream Soup. At first I was a bit uneasy, thinking it will turn out to be that out of a packet kind of soup but this one was super rich and thick. The small bowl packed a lot of punch. However, it tasted kind of bland and wasn't very comforting. Soups are supposed to be comforting!

My main course was phenomenal. I ordered the Grilled Norwegian Salmon with Mashed Potatoes. It was heavenly! I love grilled fish in general, especially salmon for the healthier choice. The fish didn't overcook, that grilled flavour was there, without overpowering the fish-y taste. Mashed potatoes were good as well, not too much cream so it was just perfect.
